FAIL_Jim Jones - "Cooler Than Me"

As well as posting some of the freshest and dopest ishh in the game, we are going to start posting things that we consider miserable fails. Haha. Lucky for the scrub himself (not a huge fan of his) Jim Jones is the first face of the KWT's "FAIL". Jim Jones goes in on Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me". It sounds like complete garbage at the beginning. And he's just idiot. It starts to get better, but its still stupid. Listening to him try and sing is hilarious.

Download (Not really. Just go listen.): "Cooler Than Me" (feat. Jim Jones)

Jim Jones saying, "I ffffailed." Haaa idiot.

GotDamnKanYe!

KanYe's Horus chain that he rocked that the BET awards. Here's the close up shots that Ye hit Complex with. Complex says, "We’re not sure most people can pull it off, but then again not everyone is Mr. West". Haha I love it.

Rick Ross - "Super High" (feat. Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y)

Rick Ross calls out to THEE biggest stoners in the game - Wiz and Spitta. Haha. It's only right. Don't you think? Rick Ross = damn near always failing with me, Spitta and Wiz = always winnin'. Haha. Get at it!

Nike Air Max 90: Charcoal/Liquid Lime

As I posted before, no sneaker beats the Air Max 90 for me. And on this one, Nike does it again. Another dope colorway. These are a must have for me, so you'll find me in the sneaker stores in the upcoming months tryin' to score these honeys. Check it.

Kanye West: BET Awards Performance

KWT's absolute favorite MC, Kanye West, kicked off the 2010 BET Awards with this performance of his new single, "Power." The stage/setup was sick, as was his performance of the song. Yeezy's new album slated for a September 14 release along with fellow G.O.O.D. Music-ers Big Sean, Kid Cudi and Consequence.

Curren$y - "The Hangover" (Feat. Mikey Rocks)

Another Pilot Talk single here, this time we got a featured verse by the coolest kid, Mikey Rocks. Real catchy beat and hook on this one. Get on it right quick. Pilot Talk arrives July 13. Be here on that day for sure, son. Dope ass artwork too, check it below. Sorry ya'll, no preview listen before the download. Just trust us on this one.

NBA Jam 2010

Saw this and had to post it. I miss the original oh so much. This will help ease that pain a little. NBA Jam is slated to relaunch the best basketball game ever made this year for the Wii. Check the visuals below, game is gonna be rawwwwwww.

Curren$y - "The Day" (Feat. Mos Def & Jay Electronica)

Spitta, Mos Def, and Jay Elect, who have recorded a few songs together under the group name Center Edge Territory, get together for this single from Curren$y's upcoming Pilot Talk. These three on a song? Yes, please. We ain't even giving you a preview listen on this one. It should be an automatic download, so go for it. Spoiler alert -- Jay Elect kills it.

Big Sean - "High Rise" (Audio & Video)

Another track off Finally Famous 3: B.I.G.? Another "freestyle," but this one's over an original Don Cannon....Cannon....Cannon.......Cannon.....beat. Some real witty, clever lines here, the usual Big Sean stuff. Pretty dope I guess, but I expect more from Sean. Video was released a few days after the track, which is also below for your viewing pleasure.

J. Cole - "Higher"

Last post got me thinkin' bout J. Cole, and I realized we never posted this track, "Higher." Shit is straight fire, been on repeat for the past 2 weeks for the KWTeam. No further explanation needed. Cop it, or you just straight foolish.

Download: "Higher"

J. Cole - "Who Dat" (Video)

Yes. Visuals for Jermaine's first single from his debut album. Took a page from his big brother Jigga's book here and shot this in one take. Can't wait for the album, dude's definitely on the top of our list right now. Anybody gotta date for the release? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller?

Curren$y - "Roasted" (Feat. Trademark & Young Roddy)

First single off Spitta's next project entitled Pilot Talk, which is set to release July 13. Smooth production of course, laced with a dope verse by Curren$y and two more by these two unknown dudes. Definitely a sick track though, get on it, and be sure to check back often for more singles.

Uffie - "ADD SUV (Feat. Pharrell)" [Video]

Visuals for this slightly annoying, yet somehow catchy electronic record by Uffie. Of course, the only reason it's featured here on KWT is because Pharrell hits that second verse. Not our typical shit, but definitely worth the view. Check it.

Katy Perry - "California Girlz" (feat. Snoop Dogg) [Video]

Twaan: (Austin Powers' voice) "Whip creamed jubblies. How'd I miss those, baby."

Aziz Ansari aka Allan's (The Hangover) Swagg Coach

"I call hoodies hoodles."

6.14.2010

Kid Cudi - "Revolution" x "Mr. Rager"

A couple of dope songs that will be on Man on the Moon: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Performing at Bape. Very nice.

Kanye West - "Power" (Feat. Dwele)

Yoooo fam, I know we super late on this one, but I just couldn't find the time to post it while it's been rockin' on repeat over the past week. YE' IS BACK. This song is fucking sick. There's no better way to put it than that. So good and refreshing to hear Yeezy back and exclusively rapping. This just isn't fair, he kills this. "Power" has got the KWT so pumped and excited for Kanye's fifth album. If all tracks are anything like this one, we're in for a legendary hip hop album.

Hoodie Allen - "You Are Not a Robot" (feat. Marina & The Diamonds)

Soooo.... The boy Steve Witz hit me with this email today. An email I have been looking forward to for some time now. In this email was the new Hoodie Allen track that we at Kids Wasting Time have been super excited to hear. It goes so hard, check it.

From the source: "This is the first single off the upcoming mini-mixtape "The Diamond Cuts", which will exclusively be sampled from Marina's The Family Jewels album.... I think that this is a track you're really going to enjoy with the mixture of new school "indie pop" sampling against the punchy lyricism of the track."
