Is Jack Mushroom in Odd Future?

A lot of people, including ourselves, are new to the young rapper (15), Jack Mushroom. The first thing we obviously noticed since we are huge Odd Future fans is that he rep'ed the gang hard. So the investigation begun.

We got into contact with the artist and he told us to ask some of the Odd Future members. Easier said than done. Haha. We realize that there are many Odd Future members. Not just the main ones. Time will tell if he is really with Odd Future or not we just wanted to be the first to cover the story. Hit the jump for some of the facts...

1. Tyler, The Creator and many of the other Odd Future members follow @WolfMushroom (Jack Mushroom's Twitter)

2. Jasper Dolphin is listed as brother on Facebook. You cannot just claim someone to be a relative without having their permission. So we know that Jasper had to accept.

3. Pictures - There are a couple of pictures of Jack Mushroom hanging with some of the Odd Future members. But more than just photos, on Mushroom's Facebook account the pictures are tagged with the others' real Facebook accounts. If you are a big enough fan of Odd Future I'm sure you too (like us) have tried to add the members on Facebook, but you cannot because they have too many friends.

4. But then we have our members who have answered. Taco answered a question through his tumblr saying he was OF, but that he didn't make music with the main crew, and Left Brain tweeted saying he was not OF. During Domo's Ustream the other day, I asked the question if Jack was with them and he said no. Syd explained and said he was a homie but does not make music with the group.
