We gave you his track with Sir Michael Rocks a while ago, but now Chicago native Shye drops Lavish Dreams x Addictions, the mixtape that is home to the Chi-Town collabo. We're loving these chilled out beats that mesh well with the young emcee's rapping, and with appearances by BJ The Chicago Kid, Sir Michael Rocks, and more, this tape is without a doubt a must have for the summer. Take your viewing after the jump to peep the tracklist, listen to the project's entire stream, and download the tape.
Meet Baby Juice, a 22 year old emcee, producer, instrumentalist and dancer from Albany, Georgia, who is motivated and influenced by the likes of KWT favorite Kanye West. With a mixtape already under his belt, dude is poised to release two follow ups to the first project, one of which will be home to this gem, "8AM Class." Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3 to his Class Act mixtape series, and give Baby Juice a follow on Twitter.
Everyone's new favorite hip hop supergroup have performed in the U.S. before, but only at select cities and venues. Today OF announced that they'd be embarking on a North American Tour entitled Golf Wang this fall, starting in September. From Canada to Texas and everywhere in between, dates are down below, and tickets for these sure to sell out shows go on sale next week. Hopefully KWT will see y'all in Chicago this October!
Fiddy with a track that actually goes. I find it to be sort of a fun song. I haven't heard a 50 song that I have actually liked in a long ass time. This has been the closest he has reached. I'm also in a posting mood. Haha.
Behind the scenes for one of my favorite tracks off of K. Dot's latest mixtape Section.80. Va$htie also linked up with him for the video. Can't wait for this thing to officially come out.
Remy Banks and Odd Future's own Domo Genesis team up to bring us the smooth, soothing sounds of "More Clouds." Domo continues to impress me, and needless to say I'm hoping for an upcoming solo project from OF's head stoner.
Young Veggies let loose of this unreleased joint via his tumblr earlier today. It appears as though it won't find a home on an upcoming project or mixtape, as it's just a loose, leftover track. Don't get me wrong though, this one goes.
Young Chicago emcee Rockie Fresh drops the Redux version to his most recent project The Otherside, which features remixes of the original tracks as well as some new joints. If you're a frequent viewer you know we're hyped for this one, so head down low, check the tracklist, give the project a listen, and snag the LRG hosted tape.
Hoodie Allen has been one of our favorite artists ever since the drop of his first mixtape, Making Waves, a couple years back. Since then, it's been a real pleasure to watch the dude improve as an artist and blow up across the nation. Now Hoodie's back with his third project that is sure to set him even further apart from the competition with his witty lines, dope flow and unique beats. 2011 may not be a leap year, but it definitely is Hoodie Allen's for the taking. Download below.
Chicago duo The 2 of Diamonds is gearing up to release their forthcoming mixtape Jackin' For Fans, to be hosted by DJs Ill Will and Rockstar. Featuring singer Shayna Love, "Don't Cut It Down" will be found on the tape which will be released in full this August. So take the duo's advice, forget all your problems, and vibe to the sweet sounds of The 2 of Diamonds.
This is the type of Wale we at KWT love to vibe to. This one over Nigerian R&B singer's P Square's hit. With so many people still sleeping on this guy (I know his first album record sales were not what any of us had expected) I think that dude's second upcoming album will be a classic. With tracks like these its hard for us to stop listening to him so vibe out...
We haven't heard anything from Donald in a while, but to make up for it the actor/comedian/rapper unveils some good news for him and his fans today. The dude released the photo below, stating that it would be the artwork for his upcoming album to be named Camp, which is due out soon. Along with the title and artwork Childish Gambino also gave us a trailer video for the album which can be seen after the jump.
And another one from The Otherside Redux hits the web, this time Rockie receives some help from Philly emcee Tayyib Ali. Don't forget to come back on Wednesday and grab the project in its entirety.
Hahaha this is too fresh. Shawn Chrys uses a snippet (or maybe the whole thing?) of a track from his forthcoming project Silent Films For The Blind to serve as a commercial/trailer for the album, due out September 13th. Dude had me bobbing my head and laughing for the whole thing. Dopeness.
Although there have been a few drops, photos, and videos from Jay and Ye's upcoming album Watch The Throne, there has still been a lot of mystery surrounding the highly anticipated collaboration project. That is, until now. An official press statement was released earlier today, stating Hov and Yeezy are now to be known as The Throne as well as announcing the album will drop exclusively on iTunes August 8th. WTT will then be available at all other retailers on August 12th. It was also announced that the two would be embarking on a national tour to promote the album this fall. I don't think I've ever been as excited for a live show, as The Throne will be coming to Chicago in October and I HAVE TO BE THERE. Check the rest of the tour dates below.
The homie Waffles comes through yet again with another refreshing instrumental for the masses. "Spoiled White Girls" will find a home on the Virginia producer's upcoming EP, which will be a follow-up to his latest project The Waffles EP. Be sure to check back for more music from Waffles, follow the dude on Twitter, and like his official Facebook page.
Pardon my lateness, but I had to get this Rockie track up late or not. This is another one from his upcoming mixtape The Otherside Redux, out July 27th. Rockie Fresh is starting to turn into one of my favorite young rappers (along with his "Duckin' N Dodgin'" counterpart), so for me this tape will be a must download.
It's the Cons...fool? I think he might possibly be foolin' himself. He needs to just drop this shit and just worry about gettin' his money. It wasn't even like Pusha really took his words. He talked about the Last Supper or some shit. When did Cons get all rights on some sacred shit? Well here it goes... Hopefully G.O.O.D. Music just leaves him be, but if not I'm sure its about to get real interesting.
As if the wait wasn't already driving you crazy, here's a documentary featuring behind the scenes footage of the making of Jay-Z and Kanye's collabo album, Watch The Throne.
And another... 3 for 3. The three of these dudes are linking up for a mixtape. Still waiting on Sean's that was suppose to drop BEFORE his album... told ya'll it wouldn't happen.

Big Sean is starting to seem like one of the busiest dudes in hip-hop. Haha. New feature on a Kelly Rowland track. We'll take it. This is probably going to be Kelly Rowland's next single. Be ready for the Kanye-like Big Sean takeover. We are very close.
Curren$y drops one project and its on to another. *Ahem ahem* hardest working dude in hip-hop. Here's the first listen off his upcoming Verde Terrace mixtape with DJ Drama.
Completely weird collaboration. I'm posting this just for the first minute of the song. Since coming on the spot I have found Kreayshawn annoying, but my KWT counterpart enjoys her so this is a win-win I'm sure. Even though I believe he too might think that this is the most annoying Kreayshawn verse yet. Theophilus is embracing the swag movement to the fullest. Timez Are Weird These Days coming Tuesday.
We let you in on the track a few days ago, but now we get some behind the scenes footage from Pusha and Tyler's video shoot for their collaborative effort. Pusha's next project, Fear Of God 2: Let Us Pray, is slated to drop soon.
We saw behind the scenes shots from the video shoot a few days back, and now Amazon graciously gives us the snippet (maybe not so gracious) for this collaboration between Folarin and Cole. To be released in full on July 19th, this one's sure to be a banger as Wale and J. Cole never disappoint when they link up on a joint.
Somehow the billionaire was exposed to Mac Miller's "Donald Trump" video on YouTube, prompting the tweet below. Looks like Mac's fan base is going to grow even larger thanks to "The Onion Loaf"'s approval. Mac Miller, YOU'RE HIRED.
“This video was built on the hype and importance of the internet. NYC legends and hotspots, twitter personalities, quotes and everything hyped weather good or bad. I was intrigued by this character my friend Ben Solomon had on his avatar and approached him via twitter and email to talk about a concept. He came over an we sketched out a few things and brainstormed. This is the modern day Waldo. Can u spot anyone? #isityou?”
This episode of Big Sean's Weekend Recap focuses in on Sean during he and Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers Tour as they make stops in dozens of cities across the country. Finally Famous in stores now.
D-WHY, a young rapper from West Virginia, drops the visuals for his take on Childish Gambino's "Freaks and Geeks" record. Directed by Mac Miller favorite Rex Arrow, "Shooter McGavin" will find a home on D-WHY's upcoming mixtape Don't Flatter Yourself. Dude's bars and sense of style are both pure dopeness. Give him a follow at @DWHY.
Jay unveils the tracklist to his and Ye's sure-to-be classic album, but we still have no release date. To be honest though, this is just gonna make the wait even more unbearable. Pre-order HERE.
Pac Div will be the next artists to get their own web series, letting us in on what they've been up to until their debut Grown Kid Syndrome hits stores. Here we have the official trailer for the upcoming series.
As promised, here's producer Reese Jones and rapper Jimmy Astro's collaborative project Reese & Jimmy's Dope Adventure. These two paired up on one of our favorite Jimmy Astro songs "Bacon" as well as a few others we've heard from the Tennessee emcee, so this tape's sure to be a banger. Preview "The Incredibles," a track from the project and download it below. Along with this, Jimmy's got big things coming in the near future, stay tuned.
Here' s another cut from Theophilus's debut LP Timez Are Weird These Days, which will hit the stores July 19th. For this one, London channels his inner Sting to make this The Police feel record. No download here, as we encourage you all to go out on the 19th and buy what is sure to be one of the best albums of the summer.
If you follow Hoodie religiously like us, you've undoubtedly been looking forward to the release of his new mixtape Leap Year for a minute. Below is the first sign of life from the project, which previews a new song that will land on the tape. Along with the teaser, Hoodie released the dates for his upcoming tour to support the follow-up to last year's Pep Rally, which can be found below the vid. See ya'll in Chicago on August 9th.

Because we missed the first episode of Jermaine's video series, we put it down bottom for you as well as the newly released clip on Cole's obsession with donuts up top. Expect these from J. Cole every now and then from leading up to the release of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story on September 27th.
We usually love some Wale. We always love Big Sean. And we're so-so on B.o.B. That basically sums up exactly what they give us on this latest track. Probably going to be on Wale's next mixtape, still unsure though.
You can get the free stream going right now with just a simple "Like" of the Green Label Sound on Facebook. You can bet your sweet asses we already been rocking with it. Classic Cool Kids. Free stream link below.
We've been wondering what Cons is going to do without his G.O.O.D. Music family after a recent fallout with Kanye West. Seems like it hasn't begun to slow him down. It's the Cons FOOL! From Movies On Demand 3.
“Public Eye” is a remake of the classic Brand Nubian track “All 4 One”. The video places Cons literally in front of the “Public Eye” so speak. While in front of giant 35mm camera, Cons performs this white-hot verse in the midst of the lens displaying what he describes in his
Produced and mixed by Max Tannone, GHOSTFUNK mashes classic Ghostface Killah bars over Tannone's signature "vintage African funk, high-life, and psychedelic rock" sounds. This dude is brilliant, and if you're diggin' this tape, which can be streamed and downloaded after the jump, head over to his WEBSITE to grab his other projects like Mos Dub, which blends Tannone's sound with Mos Def, and Dub Kweli, which does the same for, you guessed it, Talib Kweli.
After previously linking up for the popular track "Morgue," Jack Mushroom and Trizz join forces once again to bring us "Drugs." Although it won't land on a project from either of the young California rappers, this one definitely still goes. If you like what you hear, download Trizz's latest project Stranded, and stay tuned for Jack Mushroom's mixtape +1UP, which is coming soon
Young Toronto rapper Jai Jones (pronounced Jay-Eye) comes through with his debut mixtape entitled No Skinz, which features all original music. Definitely a dude who is being slept on by too many people, so sit back, give "Play The Blues," my favorite track from the tape, a look and listen below, and support real hip hop by snagging this 23 track project for free below.
Finally got my internet all settled in at both my house and Twaan's house. So the drought is soon to be over. SupaDupaLT is back online. It's been tough running off nothing more than my iPhone. So like Ye would say, "You know what this is... It's a celebration, bitches!". So pop some crystal the drought is over. Haha.
Twaan Update: Let the TAKEOVER commence, we runnin' this rap shit.
Space Academy comes through yet again with an unreleased cut from 2009 that proves to be one of his deepest, most heartfelt joints yet. Although it will not appear on his upcoming album, a second part to this track will land on the project, which will put an end to the story featured in Part 1.
We released the homie Space Academy's "Sean Connery" for purchase a while back, but now the dude releases the first single from his upcoming album available for free download below. Looks like he's finally getting some much deserved credit for his dope music, appearing on RiffSlinger as their artist of the month. Coming soon from Space is "Find My Way," which will feature two noteworthy, yet-to-be-named artists and is the second single from his aforementioned album. Stay tuned to KWT for the latest news, music, interviews, and more from Space Academy.
