The Vietnam War is the scene for Tyler, Domo and gang's most recent clip, this time accompanying the OF Tape, Vol. 2 track, "Sam Is Dead." From battle scenes to interrogation rooms to rapping dead bodies, this is one of the stranger videos we've seen from the OF camp, but should we expect anything different from a Wolf Haley directed visual? You can stash that question in the rhetorical file.

Rapsody - "Believe Me" (prod. 9th Wonder)
We haven't heard anything from Rapsody in a while, which probably means the hard working NC femcee (rhymes) already has a couple of new projects under her belt. The first one we'll hear is The Idea of Beautiful, which is slated for an August 28th release. This 9th Wonder produced cut is said project's first leak, and it continues to prove that 9th and Black Girl Jedi are one of the more consistent collaborators in hip hop.

After seeing BTS pics for a few weeks, the music video for F&L2's controversial first single is finally here. Jimmy Astro - Time Flys (EP)
KWT mainstay Jimmy Astro has been hard at work lately, producing and spitting a wide array of new, experimental cuts. Rather than dropping them as loose leaks, Sir Jimmy, along with some help from Cali producer MVIAB, compiled eight joints to create his latest project, the Time Flys EP. MIx Appeal: Allen Iverson
This mix really just makes me sad. It makes me wonder "What If?." What if AI was still in the League, what if he was crossing, and shooting his patented mid-range jumper. Well, just let me wonder, but in the mean time, hit the jump to watch a mix of The Answer killin' whoever tried to guard him back in the early 200s. Seemed like so long ago...

Lupe Fiasco - "B*tch Bad"
For the second single from his forthcoming album Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album, heads to the pulpit to preach some knowledge regarding the bitch word and how it's changing a new generation of women. The message is a strong one, but I've come to expect better beat selection from Lupe. This backdrop suits a Wiz/Stargate airwave rider rather than a powerful Wasalu joint. Still, though, if you're not hyped for F&L2, don't come back.

2012 NBA Finals: Heat vs. Thunder (Game 3)
We head back to Miami with the series split at one game a piece, making this a very pivotal matchup for both sides. Will the Thunder's first quarter problems continue? Will LeBron's maintain his solid fourth quarter play? Hit us back after the game ends for updates and discussion.
Update: Despite a good start from Durantula and OKC, Miami came out hot as well, leading by 6 at the end of quarter one and by one at the half. The two clubs kept it close throughout much of the third, but OKC pulled away to a 10 point lead halfway through three. However, KD picked up a crucial fourth foul with 5 minutes remaining in Q3, sending him to the bench and allowing Miami to come back quickly, holding a two point lead going into the final period. Although the Thunder kept things interesting, the Heat never looked back from there, going on to grab a 91-85 victory and a 2-1 edge for the series. LeBron was just short of his third straight 30 point effort, logging 29 points and 14 boards while DWade packed the stat sheet with 25, 7 and 7. Chris Bosh had yet another solid night, snagging a double double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. Durant had 25 points while teammates Russell Westbrook and James Harden struggled, scoring 19 points (8-18 FG) and 9 points (2-10 FG), respectively. Tune in to ABC and KWT Tuesday night at 8PM CT for Game 4 of the Finals, live from South Beach.

2012 NBA Finals: Heat vs. Thunder (Game 2)
After a steady, methodical comeback allowed the Thunder to take Game 1, we're back in OKC tonight for Game 2 of the 2012 NBA Finals. It'll be hard for the Heat to steal one from Durant's squad at Chesapeake Energy Arena, but if any team is capable, it's LeBron and company. Expect an update and a recap when the final buzzer sounds. In the meantime, hit the c-section to give us your analysis.
Update: After another slow start for the Thunder (Miami opened up to a 18-2 lead), Russell Westbrook spearheaded a fourth quarter comeback, bringing his team within two in the final minute of the game. On a potentially game-tying play, with LeBron all over him, Kevin Durant missed a baseline shot, securing the win for Miami. Upon further viewing of the controversial play, it looks as though a foul could've easily been called. Van Gundy agrees, what did you think? LBJ again lead the charge for the Heat, going for a solid 32 and 8 boards while Wade and Bosh contributed nicely with 24 and 16, respectively. KD also dropped 32 while Westbrook finished with 27 points, 7 assists and 8 boards in another near triple double. Come back on Sunday when the series heads to Miami for Game 3.

Mix Appeal: Stefan Moody
There is nothing more entertaining than a nice dunk, but most people on Earth cannot relate to the basketball players who are throwing down. That is why people love to see people of average height dunking a basketball. Two players could do the ame dunk, but a Spud Webb 360 will look better than a Vince Carter one, that's just the way it is. This is why this week's mix is awesome, as it features a 5 foot 9 inch point guard.

Kanye Tweets Kim Kardashian Nude Pic, Deletes Quickly
As if Kanye West and new girlfriend Kim Kardashian (Kimye, cute) weren't in the media spotlight enough, just hours ago, Ye took to Twitter to post one of the raciest shots of Kim that we've seen since the Ray J era (ayo!). In typical Yeezy fashion, the tweet was deleted within minutes, resulting in a collective sigh from men everywhere.
It'll be interesting to see the backlash from this slip-up, but Kanye will surely be put in the doghouse this time. Looking for the pic? I thought so. Google is useful, but so are our homies over at HHS1987.

2012 NBA Finals: Heat vs. Thunder (Game 1)
After an entertaining and exciting start to the 2012 NBA Playoffs, only two teams remain in their hunt for the Larry O'Brien trophy. Although it seems that most were hoping for a Celtic representation of the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat emerged victorious in a close seven game series with the Celts, creating an intriguing matchup between LeBron's Heat and KD's Thunder, who stole four straight from the streaking Spurs to reserve a spot in The Finals. Follow along with us at KWT as we highlight, discuss, and recap each game of the 2012 NBA Finals.
Update: After a slow start, OKC dominates the second half behind Durant's 36 points and 11 boards and Westbrook's near triple double, giving them a 105-94 victory and the 1-0 nod in the seven game series. LeBron paced the Miami effort, dropping 30 points and 9 rebounds while DWade had a horrible shooting night, hitting only 7-19 field goals for a mediocre 19 point night. The Thunder led by only one at the end of three, but Durant exploded for 17 in Q4, taking the game out of reach for Miami. Tune back in for Game 2 of The Finals on Thursday at 8:00PM CDT.

Action Bronson - "Steve Wynn" (prod. Party Supplies) [Video]
For the visual for his and Party Supplies' "Steve Wynn," Bam Bam brings some much needed comic relief to the Florida-bath-salts-zombie-eat-your-face-off-and-run-around-naked story. As usual with Bronson, hilarity ensues.
You can find this joint on Bronsollinho and Supplies' Blue Chips project, which is out now.

Ballin' Line of the Week: Big Pun
Big Pun was one of countless talented MCs that died during the 90s, along with Big L, Tupac, Biggie and many more. The supreme lyricist, originally named Christopher Rios, spit raps at a breakneck pace, and had some basketball references in his extensive lyrical weaponry.

Meyhem Lauren - "Peruvian Desserts" (feat. Action Bronson & Roc Marciano)
Queens emcee Meyhem Lauren is putting the final touches on his Respect The Fly Sh*t project, and for this Tommy Mas produced cut, homie keeps it New York only in snagging a pair of verses from frequent collaborators Action Bronson and Roc Marciano. NY hip hop is very much alive.

Danny Brown - "Grown Up" (Explicit) [prod. Party Supplies]
Although this Detroit emcee's Party Supplies produced track dropped a while back, it was only a clean version. Ask any real hip hop fan, if an edited joint drops, it may as well not have dropped at all. Just days after the visual hit, fans of the Fool's Gold rapper rejoiced when, finally, the explicit version released via iTunes along with clean and instrumental versions as well.

Stalley - "Live At Blossom" (Video)
Here's the visuals from Stalley's second cut from his newest tape Savage Journey To The American Dream. Stalley a fan of "Goldie"? Seems like it.

Hit-Boy - "Jay-Z Interview" (prod. Bink) [Video]
The "N*ggas In Paris" producer lets loose of his first solo single, "Jay-Z Interview". Remember when they told Kanye to only produce? This one has "Through The Wire" written all over it. And to the people wondering if Hit-Boy has successfully made the transition from producer to producer-rapper?... With the godfather of such transitions and Jay-Z behind you, you would have really had to fuck off to not be successful.

KWTracks: "Sunshine" Contest
If you know anything about your boy Twaan here, you know my love for hip hop is all about the beats. Yeah, occasionally I'll be drawn in by dope lyricism or a unique flow, but what really catches my ear is the genre's production. Tough snares, deep kicks, a bouncy bassline, and a crisp guitar riff is heaven to me. So, it was only a matter of time before I got into hip hop production myself. Recently, my MPD, vinyl collection and I have been tough at work to strike something golden. "Sunshine" was my first piece I was genuinely proud of, and I've thought of a perfect way to share it with you all.
After the jump, I've streamed the "Sunshine" instrumental with a free download link. Although I would also appreciate any feedback you'll send my way, the main purpose of KWTracks is for our rapping viewers and/or those who wish to be displayed on KWT. Listen, download, and spit your best bars over my beat, submitting your version of "Sunshine" via email to submit@kidswastingtime.com or by commenting the track's link below. Let us know you've submitted a KWTrack by tweeting us @KidsWastingTime with the hashtag #KWTracks.Exactly one month from today, I'll handpick the best, making he or she the newest addition to the KWT post rotation as well as giving the winner a spot on the still-in-the-works KWT Compilation Mixtape. Sounds good, right? What a perfect way for some of y'all email submitters to catch our eye. Hit the jump to get started, and good luck!
UPDATE: Due to a small number of submissions, we'll be extending the KWTracks "Sunshine" Contest another month throughout July 4th. That's as generous as I can be, though, so make sure those of you interested hit us up with your version prior to then. Hit the jump for the beat and the free download.

The-Dream - "Dope B*tch" (feat. Pusha T)
Looks like the artist formerly known as The-Dream decided against the formal name and is once again the artist currently known as The-Dream. After Dream, I mean Terius, I mean Dream helped Pusha with the diss heard 'round the world, the two flip roles for this single from the R&B crooner's forthcoming album Love IV. Listen below as Dream smooths things out while Push spits that rawness about their respective dames. Props to the fellow IL fam over at illRoots for the heads up.

Playlist, Play This: Go N' Kill A F*ckboy
If you're like me, you've noticed this summer is feeling suspiciously Rozay-ish. He, and his camp, have come with the most bangers, and with their release line-up of Dreams and Nightmares, Self Made 2 and God Forgives, I Don't, they are looking like top contenders for summer dominance. In preparation of what I anticipate to be a classic album (consider the quality of the songs you've heard from the album), I've compiled some essential Ross listening. It's heavy on bangers, and I in no way mean for it to be all-encompassing. It's just some dope ass songs you can listen to, which is exactly what any playlist should be.
"Touch N' You" isn't on the list, but it's a ridiculously dope song, and I'm hoping it doesn't go the way of "You the Boss" and end up under-regarded and decidedly a non-hit. Playlist, after the jump.

Kooley High - "Regular S**t" (Video)
Track 2 from the North Carolina hip hop group's David Thompson is the latest joint from said project to be visualized. This might be the dopest clip we've seen yet from the dudes of Kooley High.
Flatbush Zombies - "Face Off" (L.S. Darko) [Video]
Flatbush Zombies will rip your face off.... apparently? Kanye shruggin'. But this goes hard.
Danny Brown - "Grown Up" (Video)
Ever wondered how Danny Brown shaped those flawless pearly whites of his? Check the just-released visuals for his loose single "Grown Up," which takes us back to the Detroit emcee's childhood.
Curren$y - The Stoned Immaculate (Album)
Today's also a good day for The Hot Spitta, who just dropped his latest endeavor in The Stoned Immaculate. Prior to this project, Curren$y had grown cold on me, but the releases from this project have definitely been on point, tossing me back on the Jet Life bandwagon. Preview Spitta's K.R.I.T. and Wiz assisted single below, then fork over a few dollars to support good music.
