Although we here at KWT are pretty clueless on Phoenix rapper Collins., we peeped his visual for "Stupid Sh*t" on a few sites and couldn't help but throw it up. We love his sarcastic response to how ignorant and mindless rap music is becoming, and can't wait for his project Sincerely, The Mixtape to release this February 14th.

Have not heard someone rhyme with such eloquence and power in a long time. In this world of fake and superficial it is refreshing to hear something true and meaningful. Turn off the radio and plug in. Listen and end up in a spiritual place.

This first joint produced by 183rd features J.Ivy and has a real tasty trumpet line and the verses only serve to compliment the uniqueness of the production. Be on the lookout.

Bishop Nehru - "Fickle Mind$" (Video)

So this kid may have just turned the age allowing him to legally drive, but he sounds like Joey Bada$$ and spits supremely intellectual verses like Earl Sweatshirt. I listened to this song a few times and kept catching new lines each time. He has opened up for Kendrick (who later praised his music and claims to listen to it himself) and Wu-Tang on their European tour. He is currently working on a new mixtape to be released soon with production work exclusively brought to you by the legendary MF Doom not so cleverly called NEHRUVIANDOOM (but then again when you are MF Doom who gives any shit). Enjoy this tune right now, and look out for things to come from this kid.

I must say I slept on Isaiah even after he was announced to have joined Top Dawg Entertainment along with SZA in June and officially signed in September. Excited to see where this Tennessee native ends up in the coming year. Here is just a teaser of what is to come...

Just so much talent in this Chicago-based Save Money Crew. Dally Auston is certainly no different. There is seriously so much for everyone regardless if you want the harder trap-esque stuff, gritty east-coast style Pac, or this UBER chill cruise music. Just sit back and relax. Or, instead, you can delve into some deeper stuff with this Emcee's mixtape The Wood.

Donnie Trumpet - "Zion" (feat. Chance the Rapper & Vic Mensa) [Video]

Fellow members of the Save Money Crew, Chance the Rapper & Vic Mensa, join their trumpet counterpart for a new EP that came out in June of 2013. I am disappointed that I just got hip to this kids stuff. I cannot seem to determine whether or not this cat is really a part of the "crew" but I know he was a member of Vic's old group Kids These Days and can easily be "heard" in almost every jazz-based vibe that any member of this crew spits over.



He has some great hip-hop chops, but also has some very hip Roy Hargrove-ish vibes too. This kid has put his time in the practice rooms. Either way check out this EP and just know he went on tour with Frank Ocean over the past few months. SO hip...
